Broadcasting at 100 watts from Loyola University Chicago, WLUW-FM brings independent music and ideas to the third most populous city in the U.S., and worldwide via its web stream. WLUW is staffed by an eclectic volunteer team of community members and Loyola students. From freshmen to seasoned volunteers, WLUW is a place where people come together to teach one another and serve their community using the most intimate, local, and portable medium around: radio.
KZSU 90.1 FM is the Stanford University radio station, owned by the Board of Trustees of Stanford University, and operated by a staff of over 100 Stanford students, staff, alumni, and community volunteers. KZSU has been broadcasting in FM since securing its license in 1964. KZSU's non-commercial broadcasts include a wide variety of music, news, and Stanford sports. Some of the genres we play include: country, punk, industrial, blues, world, jazz, zydeco, goth, house, classical, hip-hop, spoken word, folk, skronk, bluegrass, reggae, experimental, sea chanties, and black metal. While our 500-watt signal reaches from Oakland to San Jose, our simultaneous webcasts can be accessed worldwide on the web.
KEXP 90.3 is a public radio station in Seattle with a mission to enrich people's lives with a unique wide and deep approach to music programming. Knowledgeable hosts hand-pick music including indie rock, world music, blues, jazz, hip hop and electronic and play to a weekly audience of 200,000 listeners. The station also broadcasts more than 500 live performances each year. KEXP programming is also heard on the web.
Since 1959, WTUL New Orleans 91.5 FM has been broadcasting the best in free form, progressive radio for the New Orleans Metro Area. WTUL's technology has changed and our abilities have improved over the years, but has stayed true to its mission of providing listeners an alternative media outlet and the opportunity to experience independent programming. WTUL is proud to work with Free Yr Radio and Voodoo Experience for the 3rd straight year in a row, and we are excited for the opportunity to continue to grow and support the New Orleans community.
